Dorothy Njemanze Foundation (DNF) is a survivor-run, feminist, not-for-profit organization using a three-pronged approach, including Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) Response, Research and Media Advocacy for Grassroots Reorientation & well-being of Responder. As a One Stop Center, DNF provides round-the-clock, direct, free, & Confidential medical, Law enforcement, Legal, Counselling, and Economic Support to Survivors through the Survivor Support Centre and DNF Shelter.
At DNF, we believe everyone has a role in ending gender-based violence; we promote community participation, so whenever you see something, say something and try to do something.
Since its inception in 2015, DNF has responded to over 5000 cases of SGBV; we amplify the voices of victims of human rights violations using Conventional and social media platforms through films, documentaries, art exhibitions, skits, PSA, and jingles. We do this because we believe that when survivors tell stories themselves, it increases the believability that when you take action, you can get the needed support,”
